Each sticky stencil comes in 3 parts, the backing, the stencil itself and the application tape.
Firstly remove the backing from the stencil to expose the sticky stencil.
Ensure the item you are using your stencil on is clean, dry and free from any dust.
Carefully place the sticky stencil where you need it and rub down on the application tape with an old card.
Carefully peel the backing tape away making sure the sticky stencil remains firmly in place on your project.
Once the application tape has been removed carefully rub the stencil down. The better the adhesion to the project the better the finished result will be.
Paint your stencil with whatever paint you choose. Make light passes and don’t apply too much in one go.
Make very light passes with a sponge to achieve that shabby chic look.
Wait for the paint to be ‘tacky’ and carefully remove the stencil.
Enjoy your finished product.
